HelpAge India and Habiart Foundation were proud to present Art For Aged - A Charity
Auction on 18 & 19 December, 2007 at the Hotel ITC Sheraton, Saket, New Delhi, 110
048.
HelpAge India is a leading national charity working with and for the betterment
and support of disadvantaged older people in India. Its care programmes throughout
the country have made lasting improvements in the lives of disadvantaged older persons.
HelpAge India is affiliated with HelpAge International and Help the Aged, UK.
Habiart Foundations is an NGO working towards a world unified by constructive
aims, exploring new avenues for creative expressions, initiating and supporting
regional and international art. Habiart represented India in The World Economic
Forum, Davos in 2006 and India Splendor at Los Angeles in 2007.

Art For Aged was a unique forum in which a leading NGO tied up with an Art Foundation,
to present an
Art Auction event for charity, the proceeds were donated towards
improving the physical, mental and emotional conditions of thousands of marginalized
and disadvantaged elderly people in India. Over one hundred artists were approached
to contribute towards this event and we are delighted to report that we received
significant works of art from almost all artists and sculptors approached. The auction
was a noteworthy event, with 92 eminent artists and sculptors having pledged their
artworks.
